Look what i found...

The other day I was looking for something at the back of our store room and came across a Sainsbury’s bag full of goodies…I found some of my mums old sewing patterns and some pages from an embroidery book from Pakistan, i was like a kid in a sweet shop!!

This ones from 1989, i was only three years old!


For some reason this next one looks the oldest, but it's actually the newest, 1996


It's got a bag patteren in it might try out...

There was quite a few more pages, and some of the designs were really nice, this will definitly be a reference for future embroidery projects

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! those are brill!! are the flowery patterns for necklines in bluey ink with little holes? think my mum has some will have to root them out for you

haha well they are in blue ink they havn't got holes in but i know which ones you mean, my dads going to pakistan in a few days i've asked him to get some if he can!

Wow, I remember those patterns in Prima, what a blast from the past! My mum used to get the magazine and I would marvel at the wonderful designs and wish I could sew... happy days :)
